DO NOT THROW AWAY ANYTHING IN THE TOILETS INCLUDING WIPES, DENTAL FLOSS, TAMPONS, PAPER TOWELS etc. (Septic Tanks are sensitive and we want you to enjoy your stay!)

No parties allowed. Speak to us if you’d like to hold a small event, retreat or reunion. Barn and grounds are shared as long as there is no event scheduled during your stay.

CheckIn & Out times:

Check in time is 3:00 PM. Check out time is 10 AM.

Trash

To avoid ants and critters large and small, please carry trash to the covered trash can and don’t leave food in the sink or on the counters.

Please be sure to turn the heat down to 65 when you leave in winter, or the a/c to 80 when you leave in the summer.

Pets:

No pets in Cabin 3 and 4. No cats. Keep pets off the beds and couches - pet hair in the linens are difficult to remove. Pets should sleep in their crate. Per county ordinances, you must keep your pet on a leash. Be sure to pick up after your pet and throw the poop bags in the trash.

Parking

Feel free to park anywhere near your cabin but watch out for rocks and trees and please leave room for your neighbors to get by.

If there is snow you may need chains or a 4 wheel drive in the winter. Please check with Caltrans for up to the minute road conditions and requirements. Keep in touch with your host about where to park.

Use of the Common Area:

If the grounds and barn are not being used for an event, you’re welcome to hang out in common areas, and walk around the entire property. This includes the woods behind the barn, the firepit and the BarBQs. Contact us if you’d like to rent the barn and grounds for exclusive use.

Fire Prevention:

The mountain community is a HIGH RISK FOREST FIRE area. No smoking in the cabins. Make sure, when using matches or cigarettes, or anything with a flame, that you are very, very careful to put them out totally after use. Do not leave matches or cigarette butts on the ground. You must take them with you.

Noise

Quiet time in San Bernardino’s mountain area is 10:00 PM. The county will impose a $2000 fine for violating this rule.

Preserve the Environment:

We appreciate your efforts to preserve the environment by not wasting water and limiting the use, where possible, of heat, paper and plastic.

In Case of Emergency:

Call 911 first. Mountain Hospital is right in Lake Arrowhead at 29101 Hospital Road. (Arrowhead Medical Center is in Redlands, about a half hour away)
